After Saturday's downpours I think it's time to bring back the legendary car roller. I think it was an Allegro driven around the edge of the pitch at half time but Len Chatterton, wasn't it painted in Palace colours as well. get the car back, non of this forking business

There were 2 rollers...... both were called "The Flatterer". The first one looked like a Fiat and kept breaking down. The second was definitely a VW Beetle and once famously broke down whilst doing it's job at halftime and delayed kick off for the second half. Len Chatterton (Nicky's dad)was the engineer and driver.
