Losing 3-1 to Blackburn away, then beating them 3-0 at home to win promotion to the old first division, and seeing myself run on the pitch at full time on the big match with Bian Moor.

When Mullery was appointed Manager of Palace, I managed to spit on his back when he came out of the dugout.

In those days the Main Stand was terraced in the lower section and I wasn't the only one flobbing in his direction.

If I saw Mullers on the street today I would do it again.. he was a grade A arsehole that fella.

strangely, mine is from our game against Walsall in the 2003-04 season.
Palace were stormig up the league and were within touching distance of the Play-offs.
We needed a win against Walsall to keep destiny on our hands. Anything less would mean it would be mathematically impossible to make the top six.

Must have been around 85 minutes gone, and the score was 0-0.
Then in the last few minutes the ref awards Palace a penalty. This is it, the decider.

AJ steps up and hits the ball, but the Walsall keeper parries.
AJ is quickest to the rebound and slots home.

1-0 FT

From that point i thought destiny was on our side.

In 1990 when George Courtney blew his whistle and we had somehow made it to the FA Cup Final.

Agreed Bubbs, although when Gray popped up and got us to extra time in the last few mins! that was the goal I went totally beserk,Watch it below on my links, feel good links during bleak times.

Alan Lee's goal at Hillsborough. Just remember it so clearly and feeling that nothing could go wrong.

Mine was Dougie's goal at Stockport and Shipperley's goal in the play-off final. But now it's the final whistle at Hillsbrough, i'll never forget it!

"I have come to love this club and still I am in love with this club" - Dougie Freedman, Palace legend.

30/11/11 I was there!

I agree. I was there Either that moment or Dougie's winner vs Stockport to keep us up

Does anyone else feel that Dougie's 2 great goals at home against Wolves in the play-off semi sometimes get forgotten because of his heroics at Stockport?

He came on as a sub and scored to take us to 2-0, Jamie Smith got one back almost straight away, then another from Dougs all in the last 5 mins or something. (Brilliant goals as well). Hopkin's goal in the final may never have happened without the Dougs big help to get us there. Just a thought
