The play-off semi-final victory over Sunderland. I remember Shipperley's header that looped in a minute after we conceded a penalty, typical Palace! Selhurst erupted the moment AJ got the third, how we miss him now!

But it's the second leg that is my key moment. 4-3 down on aggregate, up steps big Darren Powell who's heads in a goal to force extra-time. The rest, as they say, is history.

"Look at that. Accident blackspot? These aren't accidents! They're throwing themselves into the road gladly! Throwing themselves into the road to escape all this hideousness!"

I was born a day before the liverpool semi final in 1990 so im too young for that!

Theres been a few since then though:

Freedman lob in the 1st leg of the play offs against wolves in the 97 play offs

Hopkins last minute winner in the final

Dougies late winner against stockport

Beating Brighton 5-0

Every play off game in 2004

Sheff Weds last season.

Lets hope the list keeps growing !!

Seeing my first ever away game as an 8 year old at The Goldstone when they beat us 1-0.
Has shaped my hatred to this very day!

I know you are but what am I?

David hopkins 'Looking to curl one' in the last few mins at wembley in the playoff final. what a goal.

I can remember thinking "what the f*** is he doing" - then that moment of silence as everyone realises it's gone in. Pandemonium. I felt a little sorry for the Utd fans as we all knew what an awful way to lose that was.

A very good post, there are a few Palace moments that will live in my memory.

1. Palace finishing third in the old first division only for Liverpool wrecking our deserved place in Europe after their ban was lifted.

2. Palace beating Liverpool in that epic semi-final at Villa Park after earlier that season losing 9-0 to them at Anfield.

3. Dougie scoring a late goal at Stockport to ensure safety.

4. Palace getting the draw at Hillsborough in a thrilling, tense match to yet again ensure safety and sent Sheffield Wednesday down.

And finally and most pleasing for me is the 2010 CPFC takeover that saved the club we love.

I reckon, those 4 are mine also, Juve, but I'd add.
No.5. wrighty leaving.
Can still remember where i was when I heard on the radio. Broke my heart.
