It does seem to be a very low fee.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

As the right side of a back 3 I think he could have been very good. ?If used correctly, 15 mill is good business.

As a full back (which is how WH will use him) no thanks.

Agreed, he's very good at stopping fast wingers. He's terrible at attacking and average at stopping corners into the far post.

If he's used correctly he's a very good player. Man U used him incorrectly for most of the time he was there.

Just as a side note, I saw Man U had to pay him to go (to a lower salary). So part of the fee they received was given to the player.

Why would we want him… he’s on big money and Muñoz is a way better player….same with Zaha…. think there are much better options….

I agree, but a lot of 'not very good' players routinely change clubs for even more money than that. That's all I'm saying.

Bit worried he has gone to West Ham as I thought he played well
for a disjointed United last season.

Won't often get an experienced and still young full back for £15 million and I think he would be a useful addition.

Like always with transfers, we shall wait and see.

I think that until we improve the stadium- we will always be at a disadvantage in terms of attracting players to us instead of West Ham. They really were incredibly lucky to land that iconic stadium after the Olympics.

£15 million quid is very good value for a proven Premier League player - but I think LB is more of a priority position we need to get some cover for.

The only benefit is the possible sell on fee and not giving him a contract to 33 years of age at 90k a week = £32.7m in wages.
