We had a similar situation a few seasons back, was he a South African?

don't think Ward is a leader, he's just been around a long time. Don't think that should qualify him for Captaincy. Would give it to Andersson. More of a natural leader and will play more games barring injury.

The team should be picked and then one of them should be made captain. Making the captaincy some kind of honorary appointment is ludicrous and the position of club captain is ridiculous. This is a professional football club not a Home Counties golf club! Just my opinion!
