And you have players that can come off the bench and make a impact (Sarr, Edouard, Ayew and Schlupp)
The main issue here is that Glasner will also go for cup glory and that will mean more opportunities for the fringe players and academy. One of the main attributes of a cup side is a strong defence and that is what we have.Start saving your pennies for the Wembley visits.

I've carefully eliminated all the players which clickbate has leaving us, and come up with the following lineup: Matthews So that's our starting 3, there will be no players for the other positions left. It'll be difficult, but I think we can get to 40 points with them.

he has 3 years left. One terribly resource article linking him with Man U purely based on him being a LB and claiming he had 1 year left seems to have created the confusion

If he really is serious about the cups, the last thing he wants to do is play fringe and acadamy players, that’s what usually gets us booted out early. We need to go as strong as possible

Saturday's team selection for Nantes should give a good indication to Glasner's thinking for the opening Brentford game.

Mateta might be missing for the first couple of games if he hasn't had a break all summer due to the Olympics. He'll be match fit, but may be given a couple of weeks off by the manager. Can't be expected to play two seasons with no break.

Bamboozled by all those picking Hendo over Johnstone. SJ is the superior keeper by far for me. Also disappointed people are so quick to discard Ayew, who's been immense for us, for a rather unknown quantity in Kamada. Anyway, here's mine: Johnstone Andersen - Richards - Guehi/Lerma Munoz - Wharton - Doucoure - Mitchell Ayew - Eze Mateta (Eduoard until Mateta is back).
