Well Done Alex Yee, Gold Medal Winner. 15secs behind in 2nd, 3rd catching hand over fist, last 100m strong surge, overtakes the leader, finishes 6secs ahead. Well done Alex - a Lewisham lad. I'm sure he supports the appropriate team.

Yes, one of our own Alex Yee has won gold, I saw a picture of him when he was a youngster in a Palace kit, so, I assume he supports the mighty Crystal Palace. Some good news for a change, very well done Alex Yee, and congratulations.

Or was this a latent memory from your days reading the 'Johnny Cougar' stories in 'Tiger'? Johnny's opponents in the wrestling ring got more and more outlandish and I'm sure there was a 'bionic' man or two somewhere along the way.

I live my life by the values of 'Warlord' and 'Victor' - and see no convincing reason to change.
