Looks to be a good deal considering we were looking at paying more than twice this amount a couple of years ago when he was at Watford.

I like the signing of Sarr.
He adds genuine pace, which we've needed for a while, and he can play in a number of positions even though predominantly a right sided attacker.
He won't offer Olise's goals and assists, but he's more direct and offers a counter attacking threat.
We also have Kamada who can offer some goals and assists, and Franca who can hopefully show what he's about in his second season.
The odd man out may be Ayew after his notable contribution over a few years.
With Sessegnon departing it could be that Schlupp could still have a role as left sided cover.

For me it is the only position i would be happy to see him in, he is made for that position.

But did we not do this down the left also when wilf went?schulpp is no Wilfred Zaha.

Wasn't Schlupp was playing wing back for Leicester?

As I recall the discussion at the time was 'we are in huge trouble why has big sam signed two left backs?'

Turned out he knew what he was doing

Q? What happens to Munoz?

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

It’s true that when Munoz pushes forward he may well occupy spaces that Sarr is often seen in.
But that could have been said of Olise too and the issue was resolved through Olise tucking in and playing narrower .
In fact it was a big help for Olise as Munoz overlaps disrupted the opposition leaving more space for Olise to cut inside and work his magic.
The big difference with Sarr of course is that he’s right footed and is less comfortable cutting inside on his weaker left foot.
It will require working on, but the good news is that we have Wharton who is the master of playing early passes a few yards ahead of our forwards.
Sarr will thrive on this service with his pace.

Wow. How did that happen? I thought he was tied on with us.

I hope it was that we just decided against him.

Good luck to Fulham, they were talking about his injury list yesterday on the radio and I think we’ve dodged a bullet…hopefully he won’t ram that statement down my throat when we play Fulham this season

Don’t you remember a young lad called Zaha who used to get pushed off the ball and who struggled against aggressive defenders. He did exactly that and turned himself into the best we’ve had. I agree however it would be difficult for JRS to grow 6 inches in height.

My point was, he is not in my opinion ready for full time PL, if he was, Glasner would not be buying Sarr.
