I'm not sure it's possible to come across as unbiased to the people who complain about the BBC's impartiality. You can't please puritanical millenials & gen-z, whilst appeasing reductive and belittling boomers. Both groups are the types of people who nit pick at poor spelling mistakes to undermine a point, rather than take the time to understand where the other is coming from and engage in a healthy dialogue. The fact that neither of those camps are happy is probably a fair indication that the silent majority in the UK are actually quite happy with the balance of the BBC's reporting. As the saying goes "being the loudest person in the room, doesn't make you right"

What some here fail to realise is the difference between individual beliefs and corporate responsibility. They also get upset that their biases are not given the prominence they think they deserve. I think it’s obvious that the BBC strive for balance and that, as professionals, their employees leave their personal beliefs at home. My friend who used to work for the Mail is no fan of the populist right, but he knew what was required of him to do his job. He didn’t own the paper. He worked for it.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

For anyone to treat such a post as confirmation of their bizarre opinion is doubling down on bizarre.
