This appears to have been research completed by a woman.

Women are slightly more likely to vote for women candidates.

It wasn't the intention to mislead anybody. If you choose to ignore punctuation then carry on getting the wrong end of the stick and beating about the bush with it.

Come on then, what did you mean and why follow one statement with another if they weren’t meant to be taken together? Surely if you were changing the subject you needed to say so.

In 1996 - a lot of attitudes have changed in the last 30 odd years......

Why is this so hard to understand? I was trying to make a point by giving examples, i.e. more than one.
Separate examples.
In order to differentiate them they were in different sentences.
That's how statements work. One follows another.

What’s not hard to understand is that if examples are being given of something that they are necessarily linked. Or they could not be an example of it!

They were separate examples to illustrate a point; both prefaced with the words "It's a fact". If they were supposed to be taken together there would have been a coordinating conjunction.

You had three “it’s a fact”. All running one after another, two on the same line. Not broken into separate paragraphs.

Perhaps you intended them to all be as unrelated as chalk and cheese but that’s not the way it appeared, or read.

Illustrating a point means that point is the link.

Is there any point to this other than as a display of rampant atelophobia?

The Democratic nominee has gone from someone who last week at least was being hailed as someone 'Who is sharp as a tack' to someone who is even less competent than Biden.
