It’s worth noting that Glasner has retained a larger than normal Academy list probably to properly assess the talent there before making hasty decisions which could cost us even more millions. Only John-Kymani Gordon of the senior members has gone together with Kofi Balmer to Motherwell and now Scott Banks to the Bundesliga. It’s also work noting that Rob Street’s move to Lincoln City means Palace take advantage of a 40% sell on clause!

Daily Mail reckon we have a 25% sell on clause there though, which is something at least.

I thought he was still at HJK Helsinki with Aki Riihilahti as their season hasn't finished yet?

You're thinking of Luke Plange who is as Helsinki.

Banks has been signed by the newly promoted St Pauli with whom he was on loan last season but only played a few games due to a serious injury. However, he provided the assist for the winning goal that guaranteed the club's promotion to the Bundesliga.

A loan to Luton, or an established. Championship club for Ozoh, would make sense for him, and Rak Saki. for that matter.
A season of hard work in that league will be the best barometer of what their real potential is. This is probably also true of Phillips, and Boateng,

Yep 100%. Especially if we end up with Aster Vranckx or Jobe Bellingham. He will be lucky to make the bench.

It was mentioned that Glasner sees Ozoh as a potential centre back.

Off to Derby according to Alan Nixon. Presumably on loan.

Should be a good move for him.

Personally I don't see he has a future with us, I don't think he has the speed or mobility, that is not to say there isn't a player there just one that will not fit our tactics.

Good luck David this is your chance to impress.

Great loan for him - hoping he makes an impact.

There is a part of me that wonders if he stood out so much in academy football because of his physicality, but that's not based on anything I've seen specifically. He was just clearly a lot more physically developed than a lot of other kids.

He made a great impact off the bench away at City last season - I'm quite surprised that he's not rated a little more on here.

We have loads of threads calling for much worse prospects than him to be called into the first team!

I think we'll know a lot more about his potential at the end of this season.
