Yes, he didnt get us across the line, but as a palace fan (we have never won a trophy and only 2016 in my lifetime did we come close) - Yet we have felt that as england fans within the last 5/6 years twice if not 3 times after pretty much 50 years of mediocrity

Maybe as a palace fan i've just learnt that the moments we create on the pitch are the memories - doesnt always have to be a trophy, and in our case, more often than not it isnt.

But as I said, the memories and moments created and that stick with me by Palace and England are the most important thing.
