Time to go. He's done a lot of good for England, however I don't think his approach is correct to win major tournaments or get the best out of all the players we have (or excite the crowds even though this isn't necessary to win a tournament but a nice to have). He's defensive minded and clearly does a lot of reflection and analysis, but his conclusions and what is produced on the pitch is left wanting. He's reached the limits of his ability with England.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Nice bloke and all that, with good Palace history, but he's right to pack it in now and give someone else a go. He made too many mistakes in selection, tactics, substitutions and general game management.

It's a tough role these days with such high expectations and constant social media criticism focusing on every detail.
