And for most of the 2nd half they were keeping us out while pressuring with corners and free kicks. And what was his plan for the tournament? No leftback and Maguire at centre back. It’s only maguire’s injury that’s made the centre of defence stronger. I would offer Southgate an advisory role to the manager however. Advice on tournament preparation etc.
