I'm guessing this a joke. 33 in a few days and Everton took a 12 milllion loss on him a couple of years ago

A joke? I wouldn’t dare but of course you’re right, just admiring his superb delivery for our boys

The highlights are on YouTube if anyone hasn’t seen it, as if Munoz wasn’t superb enough, he can not only score, but with his head as well Lerma’s was a decent glancing header as well

Yes Munoz was getting in a lot of space for crosses, as he was for that spectacular volley earlier in the year. Palace definitely need to get their left-sided players delivering balls to him in that position next year

Munozzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

Another crucial goal ensuring that Colombia topped the group ahead of Brazil and avoided Uruguay in the quarters where they should have too much for Panama

He put in a great overall performance and wouldn't surprise me if he is our POY next season

Lermaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Great header from a free-kick by James Rodriguez to put Colombia ahead

Whoops! Lerma's 2nd yellow (fully deserved) . He's off and misses the final if Colombia get there

& Munoz gets sent off.

Why worry about TODAY when TOMORROW will be even worse.

A very foolish elbow in the chest - already been booked so a second yellow and he was off. Hope he doesn't bring that sort of play home with him next season.

Columbia held on to win 1-0 with the Lerma goal but Munoz will miss the final. A really good typical South American game, fast end to end stuff with lots of hystrionics and arguing.

Yep. My error - not as potentially serious as Munoz's

I think we were a bit lucky with Munoz. After cards in his first two games with us, he only picked up a couple more but he had 11 in the season before he joined us and had 2 with Colombia since the season ended
I can't see him lasting a whole season the way he plays

On the other hand...I quite like having a player with a bit of 'grit'. How many times have we bemoaned throwing points away because of "poor game management" as the big clubs would call it, or "failure to cheat a bit"?

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)
