I don't think he will, but Guehi will.

Glad its all over now and we can move on and make plans. In Steve's statement he says we will all be following his progress with great intrest , i will be following his with the same interest as i did with Zaha when he left which was absolutely none at all as he is no longer a Palace player and couldnt care less what he does from the time he leaves , lets just hope the cheque clears quickly just in cases the ham goes playing for France in the Olympics.

Sorry, what are you hoping is not the case? I don't understand your concern.

Edit: apologies: I've just got my head in gear; you are talking about Ebs.

Whilst I hope Olise well in his new venture, I'm a bit miffed, he (probably) spent more time injured with us, than playing for us. The modern footballer, hey ho.

According to sky sports he has left for £50.8 mil which includes add ons. In my opinion this is bad business by Palace to allow him to leave for so little. If it wasn't for his release clause he would be worth easily £80mil in this current market.

Missed 24 league games through injury in 3 years, so an average of available for 30 and unavailable for 8 per season.

The number is being quoted very differently by different sources, but those two sentences don't really make sense next to each other.

The options were:

a) he goes last year for £35m, his release clause at the time
b) he signs a new contract and leaves for that release clause (a number at least 50% higher)

Bad business would suggest we were in control of a decision. At no point since the day he signed has the club held the cards and that's credit to his agent who has done very well for him, and Parish for squeezing every bit of juice he could.
