In this election the people did get what they wanted most, they got the tories out. It is an unfair system but don't forget there was a referendum and the vote went to FPP. Another referendum would be a good idea as people have moved on from that view imo. We will see if Starmer has the skill to keep us out of conflicts that Harold Wilson did, quite shortly. A majority of 170 was based on the support of a third of the electorate who decided to vote. The number of marginal constituencies is at its highest since the war. Starmer has the potential to become very unpopular long before 2029.
