The BBC has reported this and not in it's gossip column. They are normally on the button with this type of news. If true I am sad to see him go but at least it's a top club and we wont be facing him. So glad it's not Chelsea.

Exactly, I thought of the same point after I'd posted. I suspect they see Ornstein as a reliable source.

Imagine wanting to play under Vincent Kompany instead of Oliver Glasner next season.

Fair enough, I guess. I'm sure he'll do great, but he'll never command the same loyalty and respect as Zaha in my eyes.

Good luck to Michael. Can't believe some Palace fans on here after he turned down Chelsea last year.
He wants Champions League football without the fuss of these big time Charlie clubs who are in a mire without a clue like Chelsea. A move abroad makes perfect sense. Enjoy your football, get paid handsomely and avoid the constant scrutiny that England internationals face.

I ain't got nuthin' funny to say. Sorry.

In my book the club did a great job of extending Michael’s stay at Palace whilst securing -£25M more.

With Wharton and Munoz established now and many other solid internationals in our squad the future is still very bright!

Guehi never played for OG so not a massive loss if we take the money! The quality of our reported transfer targets is promising so I’m with most on here as a thanks for your service and thanks for the money you secured us.

I cannot see what else the club could have really done to have achieved a different outcome.

Really good low expectation.

Just the kind of attitude that will keep us in the bottom half of the Premier League until we eventually get relegated.

I know Fabrizio Romano is the guy who tweeted that Olise had joined Chelsea last year, but he just "x'd" that Olise is going for 45M +5m add ons.

[Link]

if that is true I am so mad.

Bit of a head scratcher alright . At the end ot the day it all boils down to one thing and thats Money . Money for Palace and money for Olise . Would be great to have him for another season but not meant to be, lets just hope the floodgates wont open now and a mas exit follows .

Bayern it is then……..quite pleased really, if he’s going to go I’d sooner it be abroad than Chelsea or Man. Utd

I wish the lad well and would rather see him go to Bayern than another Premiership club. He's a tremendous talent.

It's a great bit of business for us and I'm sure a replacement will be found.
To be honest this is a little bit of a gamble for Bayern. For all the talent that Olise clearly has he's also very injury prone. He's had a couple of big injuries already at a young age and never seems to play more than 6 or 7 games without picking up some sort of knock.

I hope he goes on to great things.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!
