When we start mullering teams from day 1 of the new Premier League season, I won't give a s*** about what kit we are wearing.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Disgusting, horrible, tacky, cheap and nasty kit. Who the hell comes up with this crap? Someone had to spend years at college studying design to reach this conclusion, epic fail.

On a related point why are kits made out of polyester/nylon? Don't mean to offend people if that's what you like, but what percentage of the population actively goes out to buy clothing made of polyester?

At the price they retail for you could probably get them made out of cashmere and still make a profit (not that I am suggesting to make them out of that!). But how about a new kit made of sustainable cotton or even that new fabric tencel made of wood. It cant be for longevity that they are made out of polyester because they change every year.

Anyway rant over.

For an oldie (5 I really like the shirt. However as usual I think it would be better with red shorts, even more so with this design.

Put simply sweat. The proper term is air wicking. Cotton retains the sweat in the shirt whereas Polyester/ Air Wicking material releases it. Also the shirts will be decorated by Dye Sublimation which only works with polyester & will be done as a 'Cut & Sew' Basically a roll of polyester will be printed then cut out with hot shears & sewn together

Myself and family boycotting this kit because of the betting firm sponsorship. Very disappointing that such companies seem to bid the highest for prominence in a league which so many young, idealistic kids hold so dear and aspire to.

Direct experience of a family member succumbing to gambling addiction. I won't go into detail. 5 years plus of my life to get them into recovery.

Aesthetically, it's dreadful too so, that's the tail tht wags the dog.

To be fair if any of us owned CPFC or had any substantial interest in the marketing department we too would be pushing products that appeal to the younger generation to try to get them on board, us older types are already committed.

My teenage daughter thinks it is amazing and has asked for one for her birthday. Seems to be on note with the streetwear style that the club has been moving towards, tying in with the cage football image. Maybe not for the more traditionalists, but more representative of the type of players we have ie bold, exciting, youthful.

A poster earlier mentioned some clubs, possibly lower league, that sell kits with no sponsor on, why couldn't Palace do that? Sponsors pay the club to advertise their product, they don't pay supporters to advertise them.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.
