It's on the BBC Gossip this morning - Olise to Cheslsea and Eze to United or Spurs.

Personally, with consideration for my own bias, not one of those would make any sense to me.

We would very much appear to be a team on the up. Chelsea and United fit into the bracket of clubs in disarray having fallen from grace and being lightyears behind City/Arsenal/Liverpool or even potentially Newcastle in the next few years. Tottenham face an eternal struggle.

I hope they both stay but if they do depart, so be it. I'll be far more upset for losing Eze than Olise. Kamada is reported to have passed the first stage of his medical and that may well be announced soon - [Link]

I trust Glasner and I trust the system. Individuals are of less significance now and if they choose not to be a part of it, so be it. COYP

I think Personally, there is still a massive question mark over Olise`s fitness, he is yet to start a season with us, the Olympics cutting into our pre-season is a gamble, IMO, get the deal set up for him to go, wherever, we are Palace supporters, not Olise supporters, we seem to have a good replacement with Kamada, use the money for 2/3 players, Dougie style.

He will leave before the season starts, he is very ambitious, Palace is one of his stepping stones.

I can't see Palace agreeing to payment on the never never (Chelsea like 8 year deals) . I also can't see Chelsea having the FFP wiggle room to hand over £60m cash on the nail.

The 8 year deals were for internal amortization of the purchase cost and were not for payment terms. My understanding is that payment terms are normally 50% down with the balance a year later

Yup fair point I was being sarcastic. Nevertheless Chelsea will no doubt try to stretch it out.

If that was indeed correct, why have UEFA banned 8 year contracts.
It's cos they were getting around FFP by making Mudryk an £11m player a year for 8 seasons rather than paying more over a season or 4.

If France win gold in a Paris Olympics with Olise playing as we all know he can being the star of the show the Parisians will demand he doesn't leave the City and he signs for PSG

This is a very rational commentary for me and I'm therefore inclined to agree.

The downside of being on the up is that your players get linked with all the usual suspects !

I think most on here accept that Olise and Eze will eventually move on. But hopefully not this summer. Both signed vastly improved contracts within the last year. The club are no financial pressure ( that I'm aware of ) to sell. And I would imagine that Glasner would not be too pleased with having his best players leave after only being at Palace himself for a short time.

Selling Guehi while retaining Olise and Ebs and signing the likes of Kamada to strengthen the squad is what I'm hoping for, maybe I'm asking too much...
