And, with only one or two exceptions, these four players are the only English members of the regular first team. A real achievement.

The realists would suggest it shows how few English players the rich boys have these days. Well, the realists can get stuffed.

It's always been this way, quality not quantity as they get over priced as it is...

We are an example of stepping stone club - which I don't mind at all.

They come to palace to get prem experience and improve and move on.. I'm fine with that, means we are doing something right.

This was once a quality forum....

That’s an understatement. HOL hearsay but on the end of season form some are saying we could have a Leicester season if we keep the players.
As the movie quote goes: “that would complete me”

Add to that, Joachim Andersen (Denmark), Richards for US, Lerma/Munoz (Colombia). Olise/Mateta (French Olympic team) - that leaves Mitchell & Clyne as our non-internationals.
Just let us hope all our Eagles finish the summer tournaments injury-free....

I was just thinking that of Sam Johnstone wasn't injured he may well have joined up with the original party of 33 instead of Trafford, but of course if he wasn't injured then Dean Henderson wouldn't have shone for us in those last few games.

Clearly not enough coffee yet this morning (or maybe too much)

Fantastic advertisement for the club.

Sends a strong message to players in the lower devisions and other premier league clubs - come to palace and you may well end up in the England squad. Makes us so much more attractive when trying to sign new players, could be a pivotal moment in our history and the catalyst to do something special under Glasner like win a cup or qualify for Europe - COYP

You missed out Ayew(Ghana) scored the winner l/n v Mali(Doucoure, who is injured)

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

I guess I will have a small piece of humble pie. I predicted that Southgate would bottle it and pick the usual suspects who have never let England down (never won anything either).

Southgate is getting pelters from the fans of the top 6 as some of their favourites aren't going but he is correct. They are either injured or out of form.

I'm loving the who are these palace players comments? Apparently you can only be picked for England if you play for a big team.

Anyway well done Southgate let's hope our boys get some game time.

Deep down I’m sure most of us thought that mate, I think what’s happened is Southgate knows this is his last tournament so even he is throwing caution to the wind and going for it with a different approach

Maybe guehi and Henderson were already there but it’s taken 10 games under Glasnor to get two more in the squad. How good is our manager ?

The manager is very good.

But lets not take this away from the players.

On his day, Eze is as good as anyone in the league, consistency has always been the issue.

Wharton is a generational talent. There is no level that he cant get to
