Every team in the world wants a continuing stream of top-level talent.

With the true globalization of the game, and the continued growth of multinational, multi-club ownership, the rich will grow richer, and retaining talent will become ever more difficult.

Gulp! I was a teacher in the 1970s (note: no apostrophe) - in Southwark not Bromley, though and whilst I had my first driving lesson in a CV2 (from a charming young lady in France) I never owned one - honest!

Doesn't look to me like we have ready replacements if Olise, Eze or Mateta were sold this window. I hope we are looking for replacements this Summer with a view to bedding them in and selling our stars maybe January or next Summer. Guehi might go this Summer to fund those replacements.

That's what logic tells me should happen but there is not often very obvious logic during the transfer window.

Yes, it does [plans are in place]

Kamada for Olise and Ryad for Guehi

Would be great to have all four but wrong to say plans are not in place in the event of big players leaving and there are replacements being signed

Get Banksy to do it & the value of the house would likely increase....

I can imagine everyone on an end of terrace in the South Norwood area being a bit nervous of going on holiday incase they come back and there’s a scary looking painting of a Palace player slapped on the side of their house

you can contact Banksy through Gary Linekar & the BBC.

The other graffiti artists, that agree with your politics ? are really very anonymous. Their work has zero financial value and gets painted over quickly.

Banksy, a government-approved Rebel.

Well in terms of the endless cycle of being a victim of our own success, we will always have those vultures circling.

However, this summer is crucial to keep as many of them as possible.

If my some miracle we keep them all together and have a fantastic season then Europe isn't an impossible feat.

Then we'll be in a position where we might pick off other big team's players, not the other way round.

I still fancy us to finish above crap "big" teams like United so moving there isn't always an attractive proposition.

Maybe I'm naive, but I'm hopeful that both Olise and Eze will stay at least for one more season, cos they enjoy playing together and they're not both going to go - at least to the same club.

If this season hadn't ended now, we'd probably finish in the top 4 as we were frankly beating teams for fun.

12 months later a poor loan at Cambridge and another at Wimbledon and has been released on a free

Fine margins ,hope he can re-boot his carer and get to a decent level his youth form promised
