Whether Eze goes probably depends on whether GS wants like-for-like replacements for Saka, Foden and Bellingham to come on when they're tired/injured, or whether he wants an alternative.

Wharton looks like he's ready, which is mad. Within a few minutes his teammates realised they could trust him and he got a lot of the ball, a lot of which is due to his ability to find space. He has a lot of intelligence to his game. If he did go I doubt he'd get more than a few cameos at most, but what an experience for the lad it would be.

Guehi looked like a player who hasn't played much of late with a couple of really bad misplaced passes. I sometimes think he doesn't have as much confidence in his ability as he should. He did produce one cracking through-ball though which could have got him an assist.

Nick, I agree with your comments about Glasner. In a short space of time he has made seismic changes to the way we play the game. His continued time at our club is vital to the success we all crave for.

We must hope Mr Parish can keep him and that he doesn't seek glory elsewhere, as Maresca has done by leaving Leicester in the lurch and heading for Chelsea.

As for last night's game, I believe Eze did enough with his gliding runs to earn a place on the plane, but Wharton will have to wait despite glowing reports in the papers. His ability is noted, but he will be told his time will come, so keep doing what you're doing son. Not sure about Guehi, he didn't look relaxed last night and made a reckless challenge which earnt a yellow card. Personally, I won't be sorry if he leaves Palace for pastures new

I'd be very happy for Marc to stay however if he has his sights set on 'more' than Palace then him ending up staying doesn't sit well with me. I'd equally suggest his departure would not be anywhere near as catastrophic for us as it may have been previously. I'd have faith in Glasner, the Doug and all others to replace him with someone who wants to be here but also... kerrching (hopefully)!!

I have a feeling Wharton has a very bright future and may follow the same route in being coveted and therefore teased away but let's hope he stays for now. I'm confident in saying I've never been so optimistic as a Palace fan. Good times ahead.

Have to agree, if I had to choose one of our top players to go and we could keep the rest, I’d definitely sacrifice Guehi, we coped well without him with the three at the back and Chris Richards was excellent. I never thought I’d be saying that about Richards a few months ago. Clyne also was decent in the back three.

Absolute rubbish, Eze is and has been the best English player for 18 months, it is not his fault he has had crap managers, in two years he will be, as i have bored everyone about he will be in the top 5 players in the world.
