In my opinion these players have a chance
Guehi. 90%
Johnstone 5%
Henderson. 35%
Mitchell 30%
Wharton 25%
Eze 40%
Hughes. 1%
Olise. 0.1%
Clyne. 1%
Thoughts?

The fact that you’ve even mentioned Hughes, Clyne and Johnstone suggests you’re heavily under the influence of something

Hopefully none, and they all come back rested and fully fit for pre season training.
None of this coming back injured or in dribs and drabs.

Well Johnstone, if fit, might be third behind Pickford and Pope.

I think the OP was referring to the chances of being chosen by England. Otherwise, Olise would be much higher and Mateta worth a mention

Think Steptoe has more chance of being in Eurovision.

Olise could still play for England, still eligible.

Problem is that area is quite stacked for England right now - would Olise think he has a better change of regular international football with France? Deschamps is surely looking at him and they announce their preliminary squad next week. If he's not included, Southgate should be right on the phone.

I read somewhere that he sees his nationality as French, even if qualified for England, Nigeria and Algeria.

Cant blame him to be fair . Who would want to play under Southgate .
The whole international qualification thing though needs tightening up . With migration around the world now common we see many players being able to chose between 2/3/4 different countries . Makes it all a bit farcical and you end up with situations like France v Senegal a few years back where Senegal had more French born players than France .

Country of birth for me and thats it .
