I hope that this is not true. So far we must have the most injured players in the league, or at least it feels that way

Henderson - Hamstring
Lerma - Hamstring
Olise - Hamstring
Ebs - Hamstring
Edouard - Hamstring
Ferguson - Hamstring

Are we doing something we shouldn't in training?

May have got injured on Saturday but I do agree.
Still according to Steve our squad is good enough and we didn’t need to use the loan system in the Summer

Reassured that at least we have a big squad otherwise it would have been a problem. Well done Steve and Dougie !

Really bad news.
I wonder if we'll consider doing a short term deal for a free transfer if a suitable one is available.
Roy was bemoaning his lack of options from the bench at the weekend and the squad now looks painfully thin.
It's a tall order to presume that Olise or Franca will be immediately available after the international break and there's also the possibility of picking up further injuries.
It may be that there will have to be a spell of grinding out results again.

Isn't Henderson a thigh injury?

Olise and Lerma was on international duty.

Ebz and Edouard have probably come about through limited squad size and being required to play when not 100%.

Gutting to now lose Ebz as he's the last player left who gets bums off of seats. We're gonna be relying upon even more defensive performances to gain points in upcoming games.

A run of injuries ,as we now have is never wanted, but in the modern game almost a racing certainty to happen at some time in a season. All of the big clubs have it, only they have their cover at a reasonable standard. It’s always easy in retrospect, but surely this situation for Palace was so easy to predict, two summer windows in succession have improved the first eleven, but not the squad. And this past window remains a mystery for a lot of punters, in so much as two majors signings are just not fit enough to play anyway , one of these and one more create the debate for , did we need them particular types anyway. For the purpose of dealing with the present situation midfield has been a couple short for some time, Lerma, and Decoure, yes but how many bodies have gone ? How much cover isn’t there now.?
Hodgson is good at this , he has proved that enough times, it’s bare bones times, I can see Ward back in mid field as he did in the bad old days, it’s that bad.

Thank God we've got 11 points on the board as we are in the real sticky stuff now. We now don't really have a single fit senior player that is known either for creating chances or taking set-pieces. If Jairo starts this would leave us with no senior subs for the midfield or forward positions, so any more injuries and either a defender plays in midfield or a youth player will have to play. With a lack of alternatives JRS may have to step up now, ready or not.

Madness.
