There isn't the police numbers to support a full stop and search initiative but I think the threat of a stop and search + appropriate punishment (15 years+) for being caught with a knife/weapon would be enough of a deterrant, certainly an improvement on the current situation anyway! Look at British Indian and British Chinese, both have traditional Conservative values. Both are on average the highest earners in the country.
