Certainly interesting to watch that video clip. Two things that come to mind. Does this mean we do go and get a Wilf replacement? And will someone have to remind Roy Franca is on the bench? Lol

It is difficult for a club our size as if we pay more than £15m for a player we kind of need them to hit the ground running given the limited resources. Given Roy's reluctance to take risks I doubt we'll see more than the odd 10 or 15 minutes here and there, but who knows, maybe he'll take to the PL like a duck to water. Yes interesting. I wouldn't consider myself to be expecting of him to arrive as a world class player, capable of performing consistently in the PL already, however there does feel an inherent risk with anybody labelled 'raw'. I expect, provided he does arrive, to see him here and there initially. May well shine immediately and start to feature prominently but equally may be one of those players who are bizarrely still seen as prospects with potential in their mid-20s. I hope for the former of course and would be far more optimistic were we to have done more business than a solitary free transfer thus far and with the new season looming.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Since he's from Brazil, where they speak Portuguese, it's actually a cedilha.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |
