Only on Palace TV. For £19.95 you can watch all seven pre-season matches (final costs seems to depend on your membership level) Seem quite a bargain if you are wanting to watch them all. Edited by becky (11 Jul 2023 8.25pm)

I thought Plange, Banks and Rak Sakyi looked lively myself with some good bits of skill. It's a shame Reidewald isn't faster as he has skill...just too slow. Edouard.... is such a pathetic looking forward it irritates me. He always seems to do things half arsed and plays himself offside. Some of the youngsters looked ok but few stood out apart from the aforementioned.

Thought there would be a healthier crowd for this fixture. I think the fact that a number of our 1st team players were missing made the fixture not quite so appealing. You could see some of the u21s were out to impress - and some of them shone. Thought Plunge looked good! Don’t want to make too many judgements as it was a ‘friendly’, though a few tasty challenges were exchanged.

Frankly Barnet outshone Palace throughout

Write it off as a fitness test. Two Palace teams, without the time to be teams, looking like headless chickens a lot of the time. But that’s how it goes when it’s one weeks training and everyone gets a go. Of the younger players no one did more than we already know about. Plenty of time yet though.

I noticed, the invisible player that is NF wasn't present. Has he signed the 'offered' contract, because there is nothing on the clubs website to state this.
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |
