Seems to have a new thigh injury out for 2 months. It’s a good job Tomkins is injured as well can keep him company.

The Athletic have just reported 8 weeks out with a foot injury.

It looks like he’s only got a year left on his contract. It’s a real shame but I can’t see us offering him another one. Maybe his body is just not up physically to the rigours of being a professional footballer, who knows?

Fell so sorry for the kid hasnt had much luck , I did have a footballing mate who had a long history of injurys from the age of 20 but by the time he was 24 he was playing again every match and i retired from playing before him , different from a weekend team to professional team and we cant wait much longer just in case. The medical team treated the main prob but you dont see other injurys that could happen when you sign them, You never know in 8 weeks or less he could be fit and playing but think unless that happens its sorry but goodbye , I really hope this is his last injury , not much more can breakdown on his lower half anyway

If you are getting injured this much at this age time to retire or drop down levels. It was a gamble to take him as we did and has not paid off a few million wasted. He will be a nice partner to the other players throughout the season that will pick up injuries.

Inevitable release at the end of the season. Ignoring his injury record, he's had years of missed development now, he's only 3 months younger than Guehi.
