Afternoon all, I'm attending my first game of the season this Saturday and would be interested to know what checks are in place ref Covid. I'm fully vaccinated but my Dad is over from Ireland and doesn't have the NHS App. Thanks People!

...haven't had the app checked at any game yet...It is hard enough getting in at the moment without any more checks!

I usually carry the paper version but haven't been asked to show it yet. Probably because the Season Tickets are not quite as slick as they might be they are not asking for the Covid versions yet.

Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course).

With an average of 40,000 new infections every day it is not inconceivable that large gatherings may soon be banned - whether you have had 2 jabs and a booster or not.

We have to acknowledge the pernicious work of the anti-vaccers if this happens.

I am in the Holmesdale Lower. Haven't been checked yet. I think the current policy is for fans to be prepared but people are being trusted without need for checks. Best possible policy in my opinion.
I reckon don't ask and you should get in. If you're really worried ask your Dad's doctor to send official confirmation or to show an Irish equivalent. If you have your own and there's a sensible enough manager, I don't think there's any reasonable chance of you getting ejected.

I ain't got nuthin' funny to say. Sorry.

The club can't even cope with the ticketing system yet. That's still in disarray! If it had Covid checks as well to deal with people would still be queueing to get in well into the second half of matches!!!

The QR code from the vaccination in Ireland will work. I haven't heard of anyone being asked for it, however. He would need it to get back to Ireland, or else he would have to pay for a PCR test in England anyhow. Which is both difficult, stressful and about a hundred quid.
