What rubbish you talk. We may not be shopping in Harrods (City, Chelsea, United, Liverpool) or even Waitrose (Spuds, Arsenal, Everton) but we are attractive to any manager below that level. Top league football, best league in the world, top salary compared to all other European leagues AND based in London. Palace needs to use imagination like they did with the Favre idea and come up with a decent contender for the job. To hear you talk we'd be lucky to get the assistant manager at Crawley Town. Gosh fancy that 'a so called Palace fan,' Well it has been over 40 years through some very bleak times so maybe my support is not so fickle. My point is simple, there seems to be some reason why we are not attractive as a prospect for a top level manager right now. That with every day that passes is an issue. And why would I want to go and support anything other than the team local to where I was born and grew up? I simply have an opinion. If you don't like it there is no need to be quite so dramatic.

Weird that a month ago, 2weeks, lots of people on here were saying 'NOOO' 'NOT DONE ANYTHING' 'NO PL EXPERIANCE' 'FAILED AT SWANSEA' & now, he's flavour of the month. Fcuk me no wonder other fans call us 'Nigels' FYI I dont want Cooper, bad appointment imho, think there's going to be another twist who gets a '3yr contract's God I hate n love Palace

What I think we all need to get our heads around is that the best candidate for the job is someone that actually wants it. We all know what the challenges are and the conditions attached to the job are. Too much for Nuno to compromise and too much altogether for Favre it would seem. So if it is Cooper, then at least he comes in knowing the above and also knowing he wasn’t first choice. Which leaves his desire to do the job - that is something the others ultimately didn’t have Edited by NEILLO (26 Jun 2021 6.25pm)
