Clearly we are under an instruction to just go as directly as possible.

1/100 it will grab us a goal. 99/100 you'll just give the ball away and they will eventually score.

That's what happened with both goals.

We hadn't had a sniff of the ball in ages and Ayew just gave it away with an unnecessary ball forward.

Our defence will be shattered by the end of the game and Brighton will win.

The battle of the worst two manager in the league and Woy is being hammered.

We don't press, we social distance 2m from the ball carrier and just sit back deeper and deeper.

That's because we're playing a 433. A roy 433, the trio all sit deep. We saw the exact same thing with Meyer. This is what Palace fans have been demanding for quite a while now. Well this is it. And it won't be good for Wilf when he returns to the team either.

The advantage of the Roy 442 is it allows Wilf to stay forward and Eze to come inside when we have possession.

Of course there'll be cries of "well just play a more attacking 433 then!", but when you have an ageing defence it's not that simple.

The 442 has always been the best system under Roy.
