This post has been merged from a topic called 'Jordan Ayew' by Midlands Eagle Not below par, just being played out of position to allow Benteke to play up top. I must agree with all points from the OP.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Jordan Ayew' by Midlands Eagle Had 2 solid chances today though and put neither on target. He seems to have everything else in his arsenal, just needs be sharper in front of goal and we are on to something.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Jordan Ayew' by Midlands Eagle you like everything about him except the fact that he's not good enough to be a weekly starter in the PL. he should be the backup. but he gets a lot out of his abilities and works his tail off.

Against Brighton he again worked very hard with very little to show for it in the first 70 minutes but was superb in the last 20 minutes. His close control is exceptional and ability to draw fouls. Much improved player and with a good footballing brain. Also did a lot of work tracking back in the first half. Well done Jordan!

He remind me of a rich man's Dele Adebola (and i mean that in a nice way) in the sense that the ball just sticks to his feet, he can breeze past players against the odds and he's able to do everything but finish consistently. I like him, playing him up top with benteke could work in an old school 4-4-2 Edited by Mr Fenandes (17 Dec 2019 10.33am)

What a great goal today. Great footballer, incredible close control and dribbling and he can finish. We are lucky to have him and he only cost 50 quid, innit.
Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha. |

MOTM again for me. I still can't work out where this player was last season? Never more joyfully have I eaten humble pie. Tim Sherwood joked "when I coached him he never did anything like that!" He also said "it takes a lot to make him (Ayew) smile". If we could bring in a striker I think he could do well out on the right wing.

Continues to impress this season. Holds the ball up well, brings others into the game, good attitude and work rate and has found his scoring touch. Interesting post match interview on Amazon Priime this evening. Well played again Jordan and thank you for a stunning goal today that brought us a much needed win and three points.
