Benteke could be easily replaced after this seasons showing. Zaha won’t ever be replaced like for like. We’d be better off signing a couple of other top notch attacking players and changing our style around to accommodate them.

He may not provide the final pass, but he is involved in some way in pretty much every goal we score. The issue with losing Zaha is that it may effect other players like Sakho who may see us as lacking ambition, plus there is little chance RLC would want to come back even on loan if we sold our best player. In terms of replacing him we would have to go abroad and then it is more of an unknown quantity. Anyway, let's just cross our fingers and toes that he sees the grass as greener at Palace (especially if we get the groundsmen to spray it)
