I'm not saying we'll sign him but when SP and The Investors hired De Boer they must have had an idea of the way he was going to play football and the players that would need replacing to enable him to do that! If we weren't going to spend some money and were going to play the same way then hire Dyche and pay a couple of million compensation as it is far cheaper than signing 3/4 players! In a world where Tom Ince is going for £11m paying £20-30m on a decent player has got to be fair enough!

I'm not saying I wouldn't love to see him at Palace, but he plays in Mili's position. RB and another attacking player seem the priority at this point imo

He was the unspectacular but very efficient midfield lynchpin in Portugal's Euro Champs winning side. A midfield 3 of him, Cabaye and Luka would be very good indeed.
