Ben Arfa is unjustly classified as "not team spirit". He does a lot of running and pressing. Quality player to challenge the other left footed winger, Townsend.

Would come extremely cheap for a player of his caliber, as PSG would want close to nothing for a player who is worth at least 40 million.
Disagree about the 12 million cost given by the OP. The got him for nothing. They'll sell him for nothing, especially if he has hardly played

Is he not the one that Pardew was boasting about having managed successfully at Toontown? The answer to which is, well, he got Adebayor to behave (for it was with Adebayor that he was comparing Ben Arfa), but he didn't get him to score goals.

But then Pardew would have trouble getting Messi to score goals.

I think another player would be needed there. As PVA and Schlupp cover well the LB position, that still leaves a missing backup for Townsend (slot currently occupied by the ever-missing Sako). I don't see Schlupp offering much there in terms of goals and assists.

At a low cost (0-3 million) Ben Arfa would be one of my first options
