After 54 years of support with barely a game missed, I feel Selhurst Park is very dear to me.
Whilst I appreciate sponsorship is vital for the progress of the Club, I feel we have moved a step too far with the hideous adverting boards around the perimeter of the pitch.
Certainly fluorescent colours chosen are a major distraction to your supporters, let alone the glaring lights at ground level for the players. This which could no doubt be the reason for our many lapses of concentration with our defensive errors.
Our ground is starting to look like something between a fair ground and night club, with all the American razzmatazz to boot.

A lot of clubs charge around 1500 per minute to companies that wish to advertise.

We can't say no to that kind of money and remain competitive.

Just bring your sunglasses and put on a tropical shirt. Shorts optional. They may even start to serve cocktails soon!

As an American I've gotten so used to advertising literally everywhere in a stadium, sometimes on the field itself (re: Gillette Stadium for the New England Patriots).

Gotta get money somehow...

Digital hoarding is a requirement of entry to the Premier League unfortunately.

Sat in row 2 main stand on Saturday (usually in the Arthur) the ones which face the terrace are a real PITA. Like someone shining a torch in your face for 90mins and btw I cannot remember one thing that it advertised so can't be that effective.

Sitting in Row 1 v Man U so thinking of taking a sheet or something to cover up the bit in front of us - see is anyone notices

Same here. Anyway, I’m off back to Mansion online Casino. Can’t stay off there lately.
