I thought it was great to see him score with a shot rather than the usual header. Plus, he showed good footwork and awareness. His all round game is much better than I thought it would be (even at £27m +).

I don't want to ruin anything but I have a great feeling about the west spam match. Palace have clicked, Benteke is on fire and West Ham are in a huge slump, I think it maybe a day to remember. Would love it if Benteke scored another hatrick just two weeks before he returns to Liverpool! And couldn't be against a more deserving team! If we put them to the sword it could have big ramifications, Payet demands a move in January. Attendance at their new stadium falls. Confidence is shot and they don't get a win until the new year. Manager gets sacked. Oh I should stop dreaming, what a wonderful day it may be!

My guess is that Wet Spam will have regrouped during international group and will see our encounter as MUST-WIN three pointer.
