In bygone days (When i was young !) there were certain places that were, lets say, less than salubrious. I am thinking of Brixton ,Herne Hill, Shoreditch to name a few. My daughter who is 27 says these are now considered trendy and "Up and coming" and she has no qualms going to them for a social occasion.

I'm 45 now, and even in my late teens early 20s Brixton and Shoreditch were pretty 'trendy' and on a par with Camden as a place to go out.

It really did need lorries and buses plying their routes belching out noxious fumes - if only to isolate pedestrians on one pavement from the other. If ever there was a place that reflected the townsfolk, Consett is it.
My mate just moved there.

Part Time James and Willo; come down to Woodside Road and say that!😉 Hello mate, are you the same Worthing fan that I chatted to before on here or are there a couple? I'm sure you'll appreciate that I know not all supporters of a club are as bad as each other. I actually read about George somewhere, perhaps it was somebody posting a link on here. The story definitely rings a bell.
