Why is anyone even talking about Blackett...he's not our player, we haven't been linked to him and he's probably not good enough right now either.

If we get a new LB he'd hopefully be better than PS which means PS becomes a squad player and then we have two players in the LB position meaning no room at all for developing players for other teams.

I've got to say as well that whether someone can play LB, LCB or every position on the pitch...it doesn't matter if he isn't obviously better than the current players.

I just can't understand anyone wanting Blackett at Palace. I'd consider the other young lad they have at left back...Borthwick-Jackson. He looks so much more promising.

But Blackett no chance so it kind of makes sense that for a topic on a player who just isn't good enough people have spent more time discussing Willo.

I play right back but that doesn't make me similar to Cafu. Like I've already suggested, if the player isn't good enough then who gives a flying f*ck?

Blackett hasn't to my knowledge managed to impress during any of his loan spells, hasn't managed get a run of games for Man U and has only ever been looked at briefly at youth international level.

To put it bluntly he has shown absolutely nothing to warrant being a viable suggestion as being good enough to move the club forward.

He made 8 apps for Celtic over a 4 month period.

He played his 1st game in September and the last one in January.
Really don't know if he didn't play after January due to injury.
