This post has been merged from a topic called 'Ronnie Corbett' by Guntrisoft Don't often lament the death of celebs as anything above just another fellow human being, but very sad about this. One of us and a fantastic comedian/comedy actor.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Ronnie Corbett' by Guntrisoft I always found him very funny but he had a bit of a reputation for being a tad temperamental. That bit on the BAFTAs when they play a video of who has died in the previous year is going take up half the show at this rate

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Ronnie Corbett' by Guntrisoft I can't see him playing at the Addington in June then! If you were on weekend prime time in the 70/80s you'd be starting to worry. Bruce can't be far off.

Although a bit like Ernie Wise I thought he was the weaker half of his partnership, but a big loss all the same.
“My experience of life is that it is not divided up into genres; it’s a horrifying, romantic, tragic, comical, science-fiction cowboy detective novel. You know, with a bit of pornography if you’re lucky." |

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Ronnie Corbett' by Guntrisoft Really sad hearing this news, though from Scotland he lived most of his life in Shirley and sent his kids to the local primary school. In the 70s he was regularly seen walking around the Wickham Road shops and regularly stopped to talk to my mother as he recognised her Scottish accent. Also seen driving in his specially Rolls.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Ronnie Corbett' by Guntrisoft A one-off top class entertainer. Big Palace fan as well hence what chance of a club tribute? (Why not showcase one of his hilarious sketches on the screen pre-match followed by a minute's applause?)
