I want to do a marathon and fancy somewhere exciting to help my motivation.

Has anyone on here done the Los Angles marathon? Good one to do?

Any others people can recommend?

I assume money and distance isn't a problem?

When I did my first (and what I thought would be my only) I did Snowdonia as it's a hard race with beautiful scenery. I suppose it depends what you mean by exciting, the race itself or a glamorous location.

For me exciting is about the race itself. There's a few really good marathons but cost a bit. These a few of the ones I intend to do when I win the lottery

Never do Amsterdam. Soulless. Miserable. And I had to queue with the public for 10 minutes to have an unplanned dump as they were all using the competitors portaloos would have broken 3.45 for the first time but for that.
