Todays second download is a set by Michael Jackson that was recorded in Gothenburg, Sweden in August 97. This was while MJ was on the HIStory world tour. Lots of MJ hits on this one - "Smooth Criminal" "Billy Jean" "Thriller" and "Earth Song" are all sung as well as a Jackson 5 Medley. This is one for any MJ fans..... Todays extra download is the second bootleg that I've posted by this band - and it's a good one. The band are called Damn Yankees and they were a "Supergroup" that formed in 1989. The band consists of Tommy Shaw (Styx), Jack Blades (Night Ranger), Ted Nugent (The Amboy Dukes) and Michael Cartellone - they released two albums before they split up in 1994. This is a set they played in New York in 1990 - the exact date and venue are unknown. This is in superb quality and the filenotes say that this is a soundboard recording. Todays first download is a set by Wishbone Ash that was recorded at The Rainbow Theatre, London in 1977. This is in superb quallity - the audio comes from a BBC Transcription Reel and sounds great. The bands album "Argus" is a great album - and is one of my favourites, and a lot of the tracks come from there... this is great stuff.... Todays second download is a set by Black Sabbath that was recorded in Pittsburgh in September 1978. This is in superb quality and is a wicked boot by the band. This is the expanded version of the show according the the artwork and is a limited editon of just 100 cd copies - one for all Black Sabbath fans.... Todays extra download is a set by Great White that was recorded in New York for MTV. This is in superb quality and is a wicked set that really rocks. The last two tracks were recorded at a seperate who in Detroit in 1987. I've posted a couple of bootlegs by this band previously, and I've another one lined up for the near future... this is a great show.... thoroughly recommended.... Todays first download is a set by Simon & Garfunkel that was recorded in Atlanta, Georgia 2003. This is in superb quality and is a top sounding set. They perform some of the many classics they have recorded over the years - a crackin' set. If you like Simon & Garfunkel then this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays second download is a set by Nick Lowe with Rockpile that was recorded at the Winterland Theatre, San Fran. CA. in June 1978. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast on KSAN-FM radio. The notes say this recording was only digitized on the 16th July this year - so it's a new bootleg!. It's a cracking show and one for any Nick Lowe/Dave Edmunds/Rockpile fans - an excellent new boot. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast on the Lightning 100-FM station. Only a short set of 8 tracks but it's a good one and is thoroughly recommended....
