Agree with leigertwood as he was awful for us but hes improved a lot since then for me the worst players i've seen in a palace shirt (obviously davids in his day was immense)

Miller was QPR apart an alright 'keeper. A dick, without doubt but an alright goalie certainly not the worst I've seen by a long shot. Carasso, Berthelin, Day, Mautone were all worse.

Sorry Dave Madden was a midfielder I know, and helped us go up in 89, but I hated some of the football we played then when everyone was Johnny Ertl apart from Wrighty, bad Palace left backs are hard to find so just stick in a cr*p defender - Ruddock's a good un, and I forgot Andy Mcculloch up front, our tagret man under Mullery. Andy Preece isn't a bad shout either, nor Lee Bradbury - Dave Madden might have been a poor choice, but no right back was worse than Tony Hazell.
