The 3-0 play-off defeat to Watford, we lacked the desire and passion they had that day. They made us look like a pub team.

"Look at that. Accident blackspot? These aren't accidents! They're throwing themselves into the road gladly! Throwing themselves into the road to escape all this hideousness!"

At home to Crewe a few years ago, I think we lost 3-1. Couldn't string 2 passes together, total and utter w.ank and probably the worst performance I personally have witnessed

Does anyone remember Oxford - Palace at the Manor Ground in around 1988?
There were hardly any Palace and we had all the chances. It was a crap day and a crap match, evening maybe?
All I can remember is the result. 1-0 to Oxford on their only attack they got a corner. It was incredibly windy and as the ball blew across the face of the goal a gust of wind changed direction and blew it into the net.
Typical Palace!

The three midweek 1-0 home defeats (Swansea, Bristol City and Leicester ) last year were real low points. Swansea was after the high point of the Scunny, Wolves and Peterborough games, 3 wins from 3 the week after admin and from then it all went downhill. Kuqi scored (bloody Kuqi) and we didn't really threaten. Bristol City again was dire, though Iwelumo's goal was bloody good. Leicester was when we slipped into the relegation zone for the first time. Along with Cardiff the following Saturday I really thought it was the nail in the relegation coffin but somehow, miraculously we were saved.

All 3 were bitterly cold, and terrible games too.

The 3-0 playoff defeat in the home leg against Watford in 2006 was hard to take. But there are worse! The 4-0 home defeat to Scunny last season stands out, and cant remember the season cos I was only young, but i remember going to Loftus Road a few years back and losing 6-0 to QPR. However, THE worst one was Huddersfield away, I think it was in 1999 or 2000, around that time, a long way away, and they beat us 7-1!!

"I have come to love this club and still I am in love with this club" - Dougie Freedman, Palace legend.

"FOR F*CK SAKE MURRAY!"

30/11/11 I was there!

Hoof Hearted 31 Aug 10 11.58am

Losing 1-0 at home to Brighton a few seasons ago.

Travelled up from Bristol on a tuesday night. P1ssing down with rain. Got caught up with a load of Brighton fans being escorted to the ground after I parked up and the police wouldn't believe I was a Palace fan so I couldn't go into a pub. We played utter sh1te and never looked like winning with Dowie's rubbish tactics and team selection.

Got home at about 12.30am thoroughly cheesed off.
