I have my reservations but then we were interested in Baiccio who was also 35+ and with all due respect to him, Davids would be better. This would only be short term and i'm sure the wages would be right - the new owners simply wouldn't Ok something ridiculous, so why not?!

I have had the pleasure to bump into Davids and his brother Ricardo in Turin near the hotel I stayed at back in 2002 whilst playing for Juventus and is a great guy who will always give 100% for any team he had played for. The Juventus fans love him to bits with his all action play and just seeing at Selhurst wearing the red and blue even at his age now would be a real coup for us.

Feel like a kid. Can't stop thinking about this possibility. Definitely reminds me of the Lombardo speculation/signing I know we should be wary but God I'd love this to happen. If the wages really are reasonable, it could be worth it for shirt and ticket sales alone ...oh and we might even get on Sky now and then!

Bit worried about the fact he hasn't played professionally for some time, 37 seems a bit old, but if we're playing some youth around him, experience alongside pace, it could be a result. I'd imagine landing him in a coaching role further down the line would be more of a coup. Might well be work out well alongside a fairly youthful squad, playing Davids and Garvin in a combined role could well pay off (then switching him out for N'Dayie later on).

What makes me laugh is, if someone just suggested this, a thousand of you would ripped that guy to shreds 'wages'. Get real' etc, but that initial link gagged em' all i guess.
