The book on my bedside table is 'Elephants on Acid' by Alex Boese, it's a book of wierd experiments that have taken place, including injecting an elephant with 297 milligrams of LSD. The elephant died but it's still unsure whether it's the LSD that killed him or the drugs that were used to revive him after he fell unconcious with the distress of the injection. Lucky bugger.

I bought some new books to take on hols with me in May and am trying desperately not to read them before I go, so therefore I have raided my daughter's bookshelf for light reading material and am currently halfway through The Diary of Anne Frank!
Oh to kill a mocking bird. |

I'm a quarter of the way through Dean Koontz - Brother Odd, the 3rd book from the Odd Thomas saga. First book was brilliant but they've been getting worse with each one! Theres a 4th to read once i get round to finishing this one!

Have you read Shantaram? It was great! In 1978, gifted student and writer Greg Roberts turned to heroin when his marriage collapsed, feeding his addiction with a string of robberies.
