People who don’t respect the traditions of their parliamentary processes shouldn’t be in politics. The democratic process got both sides their reward of a place in parliament and to me it shows that power is all they crave rather than a duty to work for the electorate.

The Swiss model of referendums on political decisions may be the way forward, although some would cherry pick which ones they agree with. Or want another one until they got their choice over. You know, a bit like brexit

I understand your point but I am not sure that it is the same. I am unaware that Trump has refused to shake hands or acknowledge all of his opponents. You may not approve of his existence but he is the Republican candidate. When, or if, he wins, I am not sure that we will see him disrespect fellow presidents in a similar way. I may be wrong and he may tell them to get off of the stage.
