I couldn't find the thread I was looking for however as Shakespeare was born on St George's day this will have to do. Interesting article about who wrote the plays. What I learned from it was we know more about Shakespeare than I thought we did and the evidence for somebody else is even flimsier.

Interesting and well written article, thanks for the link Badger. I hope Shakespeare was Shakespeare. It makes the universe a little simpler for a change. I'm sure advocates of the other theories would also present compelling arguments, but I doubt we will ever know for sure.
