Wilfried Zaha will be challenging him for a place in the starting line up. Scott Dann could return after injury but Joe Ledley is likely to be out due to the injury suffered in the warm up before the West Hame match.

Central defender Mike Williamson returns from suspension after being sent off for two yellow cards against Aston Villa last weekend.

However, fellow defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa (ankle) and midfielder Cheick Tiote (hamstring) are still missing, as are full-back Davide Santon and striker Papiss Cisse (both knee).
